A noob on a horse

Yesterday I alluded to the rhythm of losing weight. Well, today I feel like a person learning to ride a horse. When the horse goes up, I go down. When the horse goes down, I go up. A bumpy ride to say the least. I can’t wait to ride this weight loss reshaping “horse” with rhythm and harmony.

Here are this morning’s Tanita Body scanner results (2 February 2023):

  • Weight 101 kg (up by 200g; over all down 1.5kg)
  • Body fat percentage 30.6% (down by 1.8%; over all down 3.9%)
  • Body fat mass 30.9 kg (down by 1.8kg; over all down by 2.5kg)
  • Visceral fat 15 (1 down)
  • Body water percentage 48.4% (up by 0.8%; over all up by 0.0%)
  • Muscle mass 66.6 kg (up by 1.8 kg; over all up by 1.1kg)
  • Metabolic age 68 (same)

So, yesterday I was like kinda not feeling it. Yes, I stuck to my dietary regime of replacing two meals (breakfast and lunch) with my Herbalife protein shake, drinking my tablets 3x per day and having one normal meal for dinner. I did my about 28min of basic metabolic training (low intensity), but that was it. No spin biking and no swimming.

We shall see what this day delivers.
