It takes time to build a corporate work of art. It takes time to build a life. And it takes time to develop and grow. So give yourself, your enterprise, and your family the time they deserve and the time they require.

The twin killers of success are impatience and greed.

How long should you try? Until.

Some people plant in the spring and leave in the summer. If you’ve signed up for a season, see it through. You don’t have to stay forever, but at least stay until you see it through.

Yesterday was not a good day and today was not much better. Physically and with the body reshaping challenge, all is good. I seem to be getting the hang of some of these new healthy habits. Mentally though, life can be challenging at times.

Here are this morning’s Tanita results as at 6:18, compared with yesterday’s results and my starting results:

  • TODAY
  • Weight 97.3 kg (down 400g from yesterday; over all down 5.2kg)
  • Body fat percentage 26.8% (up 0.3% from yesterday; over all down 7%)
  • Body fat mass 26.1 kg (up by 200g from yesterday; over all down by 9.1kg)
  • Visceral fat 13 (same as yesterday; overall 3 down)
  • Body water percentage 50.4% (down 0.3% from yesterday; over all up by 2%)
  • Muscle mass 67.7kg (down by 600g from yesterday; over all up by 2.2kg)
  • Metabolic age 59 (up 2 years from yesterday; overall down 10 yrs)
  • YESTERDAY
  • Weight 97.7 kg (up 200g from yesterday; over all down 4.8kg)
  • Body fat percentage 26.5% (down 0.5% from yesterday; over all down 7.3%)
  • Body fat mass 25.9 kg (down by 400g from yesterday; over all down by 9.3kg)
  • Visceral fat 13 (same as yesterday; overall 3 down)
  • Body water percentage 50.7% (up 0.4% from yesterday; over all up by 2.3%)
  • Muscle mass 68.3kg (up by 600g from yesterday; over all up by 2.8kg)
  • Metabolic age 57 (down 2 years from yesterday; overall down 12 yrs)
  • STARTING STATS
  • Weight 102.5kg (my ideal weight is 85kg)
  • Body fat percentage 32.6% (totally obese)
  • Visceral fat 16 (dangerously high, should be low single digits…this is fat around the organs!)
  • Body water 47.5% (needs to be like 55% or higher)
  • Muscle mass 65.6kg
  • Metabolic age 68yrs old (this should be lower than my chronological age, which is 53!)

It’s the rhythm of life thing again. Two steps forward, one step back. Etc.

I played golf early this morning, so I could not get my morning exercise session in. Well I could if I woke earlier, but I didn’t. Golf wasn’t great either. Actually, that is an understatement.

Tomorrow and Saturday I have a two day conference in the city. This means waking up earlier than usual, and probably that I will miss my morning exercise as well. Not sure how it will affect my overall Herbalife body reshaping program and my exercise program yet, but I will just have to make do. I’m also still waiting for my new products to arrive. I was hoping it would come today, but alas, not.

Oh well, whoop dee doo. See you when I see you.
