My week 1 Herbalife reshaping results are in
Earlier in the week I was complaining how “slow” time sometimes move, yet now, I can’t believe a week has already gone by. As you know from my blog on day one, my weekly weight loss goal is 2.19kg. This is the amount of weight I need to lose on average over the 8 week challenge period in order to hit my total target of 17.5kg. In the end, results is the name of the game.
At the end of each day, you should play back the tapes of your performance. The results should either applaud you or prod you.

Having had a glimpse of my day 7 results, I can assure you there is no applauding and a bucket load of prodding going on this side.
They say if you talk to an accountant, they don’t care about all the stories and explanations you try to give them. All they are interested in is the numbers, because the numbers tell the whole story. Not the subjective personal “my truth” as the wokers would have you believe, but the objective truth backed by hard emotionless facts. In my case, my Tanita Body Scanner results:
My day 7 Tanita results are:
- Weight 100.9 kg (up 200g; over all down 1.6kg)
- Body fat percentage 32.4% (up by 0.2%; over all down 0.2%)
- Body fat mass 32.7 kg (up by 300g; over all down by 0.7 kg)
- Visceral fat 16
- Body water percentage 47.6% (down by 0.1%; over all up by 0.1%)
- Muscle mass 64.8 kg (down 100 g; over all down by 800g)
- Metabolic age 68 (same)
So I missed my weekly weight loss goal by 0.59kg, or 590 grams; hence the prodding!
I was contemplating a day 1 comparison with day 7 blah di blah di blah…we can all see that I should spend less time writing these blogs, and more time working on my body.
Goals for this week:
- Lose 2.19kg + 0.59kg = 2.78kg to get back on track.
- Get my body fat percentage to under 30% and my fat mass to under 30kg
- Get my water percentage above 50%
- Get my muscle mass above 68kg
- Less golf, more muscle/resistance training

~p.s. Yesterday’s round of golf was terrible. As good as I hit the balls the day before; as bad I hit them yesterday. Could not put to save my life!
