To avoid failure and prevent people from quitting, we must understand the world we live in
We live in a world of instant gratification. If we want something, we want it now. We see what we want. We desire it. We want it. We want it now. We buy into a world of instant gratification. We expect immediate results. We are oversold on the results and over promised on the success. When success does not happen now, if it does not follow immediately, we are so disillusioned that we come to the conclusion that it DOES NOT WORK. So we quit.
Who sold us on this philosophy? The media of course.
In the real world, actions have consequences. Always. An action is followed by a reaction. Always. If you sow, you will reap. Always. What happens if you took action, but quit before the reaction (result) appeared? What happens if you sowed, but left the field before you could harvest?
It’s simple: someone else gets the credit for what you have done. Someone else get the results.
Understand the time gap to avoid failure
If you understand the time gap between action and reaction; between sowing and reaping, between taking action and experiencing the resutls, you will have the patience required to see it through UNTIL you can harvest the results that you are working for. This is how you avoid failure.
If you do something often enough, a ratio of results will appear. It always does. If you have the patience to see it through until that ratio of results appear, you are on your way to success. Now you can work out exactly how long it will take you to get the desired results.
Next, start working on your knowledge and skills, so that you can get bettter at your activities. Doing this over and over, will assist you in improving your skills and ultimately improving your ratios.
This 7 minute video will put it all in perspective for you so that you can learn, once and for all, how to avoid failure and create success every time you set out to achieve something new.
